Living in Harmony

Living in Harmony was set up in 2020 with a vision to create a shop filled with unique hand made items for the home.  Part of this vision was to find items that were made using materials that are either recycled or sustainably sourced, and by makers who are respected and supported in their role.

The products are all hand picked and selected for their quality and level of craftsmanship.  

Supporting the work of these craftsmen also helps to protect traditional craft and sustain the communities in which these people live.  

The products chosen support:
- organisations that reinvest in the lives of the makers and sustain small rural communities;
- skilled people who have become refugees and are needing to start their life again in new surroundings;
- the use of recycled materials; and
- traditional craft.

Finding these products and discovering these communities is part of the joy of this whole experience of creating Living in Harmony and the search for new and innovative products and designs continues.
